This work is devoted to the problem of a patriarchal society, when women sacrifice their own ambitions and prospects in favor of marriage. And they prove their worth only by trying to tie a successful man to themselves. This sublimes women's ambition. Because in a patriarchal society there is no place for an unmarried woman.
