Soft shades of ambers, rusts and yellows in soft folds of Iris petals. It is one of my very favourite flowers and a subject i often return to.
The Iris, to me generates feelings of gentle flowing life, softness mixed with strength. bending to the wind, flexing and adapting.
Amber tones generate warmth and comfort.

Amber Dreams is painted in oils on a deep frame canvas and painted around the edges so that it can be hung either straight into the wall as a canvas or framed in a tray frame
