Original artwork description:

Two old metal cups hanging on two different threads, hiding under a blue-striped dishcloth, like two lovers!

I made this work on a canvas, treated the background by superimposing several layers of colour to obtain a green unique , traced the outline of the painting with chalk and only then started to paint with oil colours.
I use oil colour by superimposing many thin layers of appropriately diluted colour to create the effects I want.
Once perfectly dry, I finished the surface with a final coat of varnish to make it UV-resistant.

SOSPESI is the series I started painting in 2022, with which I wish to reflect on the suspended moments that life places before us and, through art, overcome the barrier of time, to give value to each instant.

The work does not have a frame but is ready to be hung.

The work is signed on the front and back and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

for shipment outside the EU we need to wait for authorisation from the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, which may entail a delay of a few days
