READY to hang - Textured abstract oil on canvas; Many Indian cities have streets lined with the Amaltaas tree, which flowers profusely in hot weather with white, yellow or pink blooms that resemble delicate chandeliers. It also has long brown seed pods that are said to cure digestive ailments. It's an unforgettable sight and perhaps unraveled by any flower show put on by another tree. I had to study the anatomy of these flowers closely to get the impressionist version to look right..Textured oil on canvas. this subject had been on my mind for years, along with the concerns that I would not justice to the real tree. I was happy with how this turned out as a study..maybe a larger, more detailed version will follow :)
