part of an ongoing series of large scale paintings on museum quality stretched canvas, using a limited colour palette.. AMALFI was inspired by a holiday on the coast in Italy in the 1980's , the colors of the coastline and the big haired beautiful women that I had seen as a young and impressionable teenager, I carried a sketchbook with me and drew daily inside it, I only recently rediscovered it's contents and was inspired to create this work.. this is the second work in the series, using the same colors ..ready to hang or frame as desired..
