‘Always There is a surreal collage pastel painting created on several pieces of Khadi Rag Paper.
The characters where created on separate pieces of hand torn rag paper parchment that was then hand layered on top of each other to create a collage, giving depth to this piece.

This surreal work explores the intricate connection between our waking life and the world of dreams and visions. It explores the tangible and the ethereal and the invisible threads that connect our dreams and reality.
It is steeped in symbolism to explore these ideas of my subconscious.
