Along the path with Pollard willows. Small oil painting on wooden panel. (10x12 inch / 24x30 cm)
Just one day of sketching offered me enough inspiration for a series of paintings. At this specific spot* I created some drawings of pollard trees and reeds near the lake . Pollard willows are part of the typical Dutch polder landscape. At the studio, preparing my panels I chose some smaller ones to recreate what I had seen. This is one of a series of ten landscapes I created after that day.

*near the Dutch village of Vinkeveen

I glued the mdf-panel to a framework so you can frame the painting in any standard frame you like. I also applied an iron thread on the back so it's ready to hang.
Room setting images are visually as close to scale as possible, but not to actual scale.
