Paul has spent many weeks on the North Northumbrian coastline in awe of the huge skies and expansive beaches. Alnmouth is a beach frequently visited with the river Aln creating a river of water that widens and merges with the ocean as it meanders across the glistening sand flats. The painting was created on location on a weeks visit.

Alnmouth Revisited is a semi abstract painted in response to this oceanscape. Painted in acrylic on heavy acrylic paper and mounted on board, it is float mounted in a smart black frame.
