Biloxi, Mississippi - more specifically Ocean Springs - is the only place I've seen loblolly pines on the beach. I spent a week there before Katrina and loved it but confused by all the pines so close to the beach. I've never seen any pines near a beach in a lifetime of going to Gulf Coast beaches.
