Brixton being criss-crossed with Railway has more than its fair share of Arches that for many have provided spaces to work or even have a shop. What was once known as Orphans Alley, is one such place so-called due to its proximity to the long gone Brixton Orphanage Barley wide enough for one vehicle, it remains in use today. The location inspired me to do this painting.
Powerful and evocative this original oil painting can be a wonderful, stunning centre piece to any home or office.
