I decided to call her alla prima ballerina because of the triple meaning…
🩰 it was painted using the alla prima method (wet on wet)
🩰 it also refers to prima ballerina (a title awarded to the most notable of female ballet dancers)
🩰 but it also means ‘first attempt’ or ‘at first’ which could refer to her waiting in the wings for her first performance 🙂
