Artwork description:

METAMORPHICA & The Danse Macabre
is an ongoing project from London based artist, Paul Kingsley Squire.

Drawing inspiration from mythology and symbolism, these animal headed hybrids and dead beat fashionistas mix humans with paganistic totemism and skeletal decadence, resulting in a highly stylised ultra modern icon.

A framework is digitally drawn in exquisite detail and then meticulously coloured, to create the finished artwork.

The completed pieces are each available as acrylic and aluminium mounted prints, or archival Giclée prints which can be traditionally framed.

The red panda has been classified as an endangered species, because its wild population is estimated at less than 10,000 mature individuals and continues to decline due to habitat loss, poaching, inbreeding and even depression ! They are a protected species and will hopefully survive to enjoy ‘All Tomorrow’s Parties’…

This print is on Hahnemühle 308 gsm paper - Photo Rag® is the most popular paper chosen by photographers to create high quality fine art prints. The fine, smooth surface and feel of Photo Rag® make this paper very versatile and it is ideal for printing both black and white and colour photographs and art reproductions with impressive pictorial depth.
