Jean's favourite drink is a Kentucky classic - the mint julep. She starts with a double measure of bourbon, golden like a sunset in spring. Bruised blue-green spearmint leaves, water, then sugar syrup. The colours muddle in the glass like a watercolour painting.

And last - oh, the final luxurious beauty of it - the delicate crushed ice that shoves everything up against each other. And that's how they talk to each other: four ingredients all saying 'hey darlin' - forget about all this - run out to the deck and watch the sun go down.'

From an edition of 25 prints. All prints are individually signed and numbered on the reverse and printed on Fuji Flex glossy C-type archival paper for the crispest quality.
