I spotted this distinguished and mature woman in her wonderful coat and scarf striding purposely down Oxford Street in Swansea, on a date with destiny, her face rigid and etched with purpose and in anticipation. She looked concerned or even heavy with worry but not bowed by it. She was dressed for that challenge and ready for it too.
The winter light caught her craggy face and illuminated her steely countenance, darkening the background as if she was an actor approaching the spotlight on stage in a play.
Hoping not to fluff her lines.
