Original artwork description:

This us a mixed media artwork using photography, photocopy and acrylic paint. The background is painted and manipulated photography and the foreground is hand painted.
I took a series of photographs in Southampton in January. I started wondering if human intervention stopped for whatever reason (cheery thought eh?) how long would it take for nature to reclaim the land.! This is on an estate built on a bomb site in the sixties in Southampton. Rather haunting but very beautiful.

Materials used:

Photography, black and white photocopy, acrylic paint
