If this is all that's left . I took a series of photographs in Southampton and wondered how life would carry on in the centre of a city after humans are gone! Yes very cheery but I like the idea this would be the beginning of something else!An urban study of housing estate in Southampton. I am told this area used to be a bomb site before it was built on in the 60s. Manipulated , photocopied then transferred on to gold ( Dutch metal leaf ) and van dyk crystals. Quite haunting image. I am doing an edition of 20 but keep in mind each one although from the same photograph is hand painted onto the photo and unique. It is on board.
