The scent of spring fills Mara, who with her All Stars snikers lets herself be overwhelmed by the first heat. The sun's rays penetrate numerous giving a sugestive effect of light and shadows. The title plays on the "All Stars" shoe brand and the "Striped" t-shirs pattern, obtaining a clear reference to the flag of the United States of America. The colors are kept on pastel colors in tune with the seasonal colors. Basically and not so secretly, this painting is intended to be an ode to spring.
