Original artwork description:

This is a reference from my vacation in Tuscany earlier this year. This little street was just opposite the Duomo in Florence. After climbing up the tower and enjoying breathtaking views of the Tuscan region, I fell in love with the light here in this little street. I sketched it on location and promised to myself to paint it in full colour later. Check out my original sketch here along with the painting.:)

What I love about this image is that it has everything that I love about Florence in one frame. Quaint lanes with bright sunlight, gorgeous windows creating interesting shadows, cute little awnings and a pizzeria at the end of the road. What more does one need!
