These are completely unique and original PMS Mixed Media paintings on fabric and broken, reclaimed wood pieces. This triptych is a series within my new series. These paintings and series epitomizes a technique and aesthetic I have been working to perfect over the years and takes them to a new level, both literally and figuratively. Themes in my work of construction, deconstruction, vibrant color, form, texture and decay exist in this piece and have been amplified by a new layer of broken down, assembled pieces of wood, that have been painted and constructed into the piece. This adds a wonderful new element of shadow and an idea of breaking the plane of a conventional canvas and frame. I have continued my obsession with incorporating found and recycled materials and assembled them into what I like to think of as a sculptural painting. They are beautiful and rugged and fun to look at from multiple angles and with the changing of light that reflects on the piece. The colors are vibrant and alive and the texture is highly tactile and almost edible. Unlike other painting in this series, this triptych incorporates oil, acrylic and spray paint, on wood and canvas. The colors of oil paint streak and mix on the surface and appear to be streaming across the surface in brilliant overlapping and interacting color and create bumps or waves of texture on the surface to give even more depth and intrigue to the pieces. This is truly an original series of paintings like no other.

Note: These paintings are painted on fabric pieces and assembled reclaimed wood, and come uniquely hang ready. Individual sizes, from left to right are as follows: 33" x 28" x 3.5", 31" x 24"x 1.5" , and 43" x 28" x 2.5".

These paintings are signed on the front and include my Certificate of Authenticity.
