Original artwork description:

All hands on deck – by Alanah Jarvis
This painting pays tribute to and acknowledges the Australia’s First People throughout Australia and their continuing connection to land, sea and community.
‘All hands on deck’ is an old maritime saying and was a call to action meaning that everyone needs to assist in resolving a problem or situation.
Australians have witnessed comradery in recent years thanks to the 2020 bushfires and the ongoing floods in NSW. We have seen that we come together to help one another, whether be family, friends or strangers, and we need ‘all hands on deck’ to continue to help one another and to prevent further devastation caused by Global Warming.
The edges of this painting have been painted to create a faux frame.
