Important: This print is sold with passepartout only, wooden frame not included. The photos of the frame are for illustrative purposes only.

This print represents the portrait of a generous plant that has accompanied civilizations for millennia. The spherical shape of the flower is an aerial part and at the same time the reflection of the bulb that hides in the ground.

This simple and ancient plant with its concentric ring structure brings with it a vast symbolism.

This photo was taken in the field with natural light and no plants were cut.

To take the shot, a neutral background of light paper was placed behind the subject and, no artificial lights or flashes were used.

Alium Cepa is an original print made in the darkroom using only light sensitive paper. The image is printed on archival photographic paper which has been hand processed in a traditional darkroom. Each print is unique and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Frame not included.
