Bold, black brushstrokes sprout from the bottom of the artwork, with a small splash of bright, contrasting blue, and swathes of textural red layered over the black. A simple, but striking composition.

“Alien Head (3)” is an acrylic painting on substantial, archival paper. This bold piece is large enough to hang on its own as a statement piece, but would also work well as part of a gallery wall, or paired with one of its sibling pieces from the “Alien Head” series.

My work is a mix of many things, and created in a number of ways. Sometimes viscerally — with brush in hand —fueled by loud music, emotion and caffeine, other times it’s more meditative, working in a deliberate fashion. Part of my process is the naming each piece, or series of pieces, and as a lover of words and language, I often feel that a piece or series is not complete until a name is crafted.

This artwork is signed on the front and comes with a certificate of authenticity. The artwork will be carefully wrapped in padding and packed flat for shipping. All shipping is done via FedEx. Please contact me if you have any questions or special requests.
