Alhambra trap 1
Edition of only 10 exclusive signed prints
Style: Graphic. Minimalist. Line. Black, Blue. Transparent colour. Geometric. Optical. Circles.
One of a series of prints based on using the square/pyramid/cone/circle format to create strong forms, patterns and optical elements. This set have a strong frame work/keylines that link them together. These prints connect to the 'Traps' series I've been producing for several years. This version is a play on the beautiful tile work in the Alhambra in Granada, where the Moorish king of Granada, Mohammed ben Al-Ahmar, renovated its ruins, the project continued and was embellished upon by his successor Yusuf I, Sultan of Granada, in 1333.
All my artwork is drawn directly into the computer (no scans or photographs) using vector lines and curves. The finished artwork is printed out as a high quality limited edition Giclée print.
This is an original digital artwork. The above image is taken directly from the image file, rather than being photographed or reproduction of the final print.
Printed colours can vary slightly from those produced by a computer screen.
Your print will wrapped in layers of acid free tissue then rolled into a strong cardboard tube for posting along with a letter from the artist.
By default the print is cut with a 1.5 cm white border. If you wish your print to be cut to the edge of the image let me know.
