Original artwork description:

This drawing explores a journey taken around the wonderful complex of Alhambra in Granada, Spain.

The drawing was created in response to forming ideas that contributed to the production of an installation mural created at Malaca Instituto Spanish Language School, where I was employed to interior design one of the student rooms (Room 521), over a period of three months.

The image is composed of layered views seen in the complex, bringing together the various architectural elements into one painting as I walked around, creating an image o f the journey.

This is one of a series of drawings exploring my time in Malaga and Andalucía.
