This original oil painting depicts the town of Alghero on the island of Sardinia, Italy from a pier along the sea. The artist visited this island in 2012 and referenced her own photos to create this original oil painting from her studio. She was enamored by the colorful buildings and calm waters in the sea during her visit. Several years of studio work were invested into this landscape painting. Professional grade oil paints on gallery-wrapped canvas were used to create this piece. The painting is varnished to preserve it for generations, and a wire mount is installed on the back so it is ready to hang when you receive it. In addition, all Steph Moraca original paintings include a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
