Inspired by the rich, earthy tones of mushrooms and highly magnified images of algae, this piece radiates the beautiful colours of autumn and roots us in nature.

The title references the importance of algae; they play a vital role in aquatic ecosystems by forming the energy base of the food web for all aquatic organisms. As sea temperatures rise, algae form algal blooms, which, although they might sound lovely, are detrimental to aquatic wildlife and make the water even warmer.

This artwork is signed and dated on the back and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity. It will be carefully wrapped in tissue paper, foam board, and bubble wrap and packed in a sturdy cardboard box. Shipped within five working days. Tracking code provided.
