One of the tasks that I set myself in this work was to write the light.
It was the sun's rays and reflections from them on the columns and railing of the rotunda that attracted my attention. The rest I made secondary. I left the foreground, shadows and foliage as a solid spot in the underpainting - they are not important. Light is the main character.
