An original painting portraying Alex Albon’s excellent drive and points finish in Montreal.
The stunning looking Williams FW45 had shown glimpses of pace in 2023, but it was not until Canada that we saw what it was fully capable of, in the hands of super-talented Albon.
His impressive drive to 7th on the Sunday, demonstrated the smooth car control that earned him his place in Formula 1. But it was his incredible lap times in the rain during Saturday qualifying, that reminded the F1 community what a skilful driver he is.
This piece shows Albon hustling his Williams on the slippery Canadian track.
I have used blues and mouves for the water to show how the track both reflected the grey sky above, and how momentary racing lines were created as cars drove along each lap.
