“Alessia n.4” is a small portrait which I painted to add a new and fresh artwork to the series “Faces”. I painted it using a photograph which I shot several years ago to Alessia, a friend of mine who works as an actress and is particularly good in making interesting and realistic facial expressions. This painting is an oil on linen with a bright, green background which reflects the green in the eyes of the model. It is painted using top class materials in an interesting mix of accurate and gestural brush strokes.
