The Alcazar of Segovia, dating from the early twelfth century, is one of the most famous medieval castles in the world and one of the most visited monuments in Spain. Twenty-two kings have passed through their stays, in addition to some of the most outstanding characters in history.
The Alcazar inspired Walt Disney cartoonists to design his famous castle.
