Gabriel insists that this bear was once a series of maps focused on the topography of an old forest - which was cut down to make the maps. Eventually the maps grew tired of this absurdity and decided to express themselves as a bear. Being new to life as - well, not a map - the bear doesn't understand certain things. Things like early morning and alarm clocks are top of that list. He is a very proactive bear, and is willing to come to your home and "fix" your alarm clock.
