Aladdin's lamp in the tale said that it was enough to rub it for all desires to come true, but beyond this tale there is a reality behind, that we are endowed with free will, we have the power to take in hand our destiny, to make choices of life and behavior, which allows us to direct our life and to carry out the projects which are important to us, a little like with the lamp of Aladdin but with more d 'effort and will.
We must first make a wish, know exactly what we want before asking the lamp, the basic principle is to know what we want and in which direction to go, only then we give ourselves the means to choose how to get there.
