Choosing a shoe is choosing to tell something about yourself. Each woman with dresses and heels stages motivations, identities, values, attitudes, personalities, lifestyles, which intertwine with each other, creating infinite possibilities of expression.
Each of us is a story in itself, and each story speaks through fashion.
As Christian Dior used to say, "elegance starts from within".
This painting is dedicated to a passion that unites, I believe, all of us women: shoes.
The background and silhouettes of the women are made through the application of vintage papers while everything else is painted in acrylic.
To protect the work I used a clear gloss varnish.
The painting will be shipped with its certificate of authenticity.
