The water on the sidewalk of the Malecon seems to be the one who lends its reflection to the sky.
In the ultra-realistic canvas, it goes beyond what is seen, because you can see what the painter feels with the light-dark and through his senses at the moment he captures the scene there on the boardwalk with its light, its sound and its temperature, and of course with its smell of saltpeter.

El agua de la acera del Malecon parece que es quien presta su reflejo al cielo. En el lienzo ultrarealista, va mas alla de lo que se ve, pues se ve lo que el el pintor siente con los claro-obscuros y a traves de sus sentidos en el momento en que capta la escena alli en el malecon con su luz, su sonido y su temperatura, y como no con su olor a salitre.
