Akarui Funaki (Light atmosphere) is the first in the 'Light Art' collection, painting with Light and paint. It is a high-quality LED artwork that invokes some traditional Japanese Buddhist ideas about beauty.

Akarui Funaki (Light atmosphere) is about producing a minimal yet fascinating exploration of microcosmic life forms in all their beauty. This particular painting is concerned with the evolution of life.

The painting is created on a 122 cm x 122 cm sheet of Plexiglass, which is mounted on another translucent sheet of Plexiglass, and together they are mounted onto a strong LED panel. Then the sheets and panel are placed on a board for strength and framed in a solid wooden frame. It is not a floating frame. The artwork and the frame are 125 cm x 125 cm x 7 cm. The panel is 20 kg and will need professional installation and requires a power point. Depending on your country we will provide a suitable power supply.

This work was created in 2021-2022. A Certificate of Authenticity with hologram - verification is provided, and a copy of the hologram is placed on the rear of the painting.

There is no warranty on this panel but it is the highest quality LumiSheet™ LED panel but it has only been used for displaying the painting for 1 week at a show.
