This portrait is for sale and is also being used here as an example of what can be purchased as a custom animal portrait .
In this instance a photograph was obtained by the artist from the owner and used as the subject for the artwork.
"It is important to me as the artist that I portray not only the likeness but the character of each of my subjects, for example in this portrait this is not only a portrait of a BROWN HORSE this is actually AINT DUN DANCING the owners horse."
