Original artwork description:

The neon lights cast bizarre shadows on the streets of Kyoto as I, Aiko, a geisha from the Gion district, write these lines. The world around me is changing rapidly, like a spring rain washing away dust from age-old stones. But in this eternal movement, there are things that remain unchanged. I am one of those who preserve the legacy of the past, linking it to the present.
