Original artwork description:

This painting was done as part of a series at the Baltic Sea in the famous artist village of Ahrenshoop where I spent a lot of time at the sea watching the light changing in the evenings at sunset. In Ahrenshoop the trees are growing right up to the beach, so that you can see trees and waves at the same time. The sheer beauty of those light shows made me always happy and relaxed and calm and here is an abstraction of what I saw.
