A moment of radiance as the sun behind dense foliage made the lilac blossom appear to dissolve at the edges while the leaves themselves were transformed into a many-layered mosaic of colour. A classic yet ethereal Springtime moment captured in paint.

My constant inspiration is to capture moments when intense light seems to dissolve the edges of all that once seemed solid; those 'blink and they're gone' moments of transience in nature.

This is a deep-sided canvas with white-painted sides and is ready to hang.
