Painted on-site in Minneapolis, MN. Features an autumn tree backlit by afternoon light, with glowing yellow leaves. The shape of the tree is reminiscent of a torch, and it is lit up by the sun. The tree is surrounded by a riot of textures from the autumn grasses, bare branches, shrubs, fallen leaves, and deep shadows on the lawn. Painted on board with oil over casein paint. Paint has been applied with both palette knife and brush, and the texture of the foliage is enhanced by the thick paint. Also contains dripping and spattering effects.
Framed in a 1" wide wood frame with a distressed gold finish. May be purchased unframed by request.
