Original artwork description:

I love this time of year when the fields are being harvested and the days are at there longest. This painting captures the afternoon shadows across a Norfolk stubble field behind my house. The hot day had left a lovely smell of freshly cut corn and I sat down to capture this fleeting scene plein air. The sky looked particularly amazing, but was quite a challenge as the clouds were moving so fast.

The painting is signed on the front with my initials.
