This painting began en plein air along the banks of the Shenandoah River in Virginia. The artist completed the painting in further detail from her studio. On this late spring afternoon, sunlight warmed the colors of the trees lining the river. The calm meandering water reflected the surrounding foliage.
Professional grade oil paints were used on gallery-wrapped canvas. The painting is not framed, but the painting concept is continued onto the side borders of the painting canvas. A wire mount is installed so the painting is ready to hang when you receive it.
