Original artwork description:

This is a view down the hill Rue De L'Homme De Bois in Honfleur, Normandy. This is a part of the world frequented by my heroes, the Impressionists. Though the town still has a fishing fleet, these days the major income is from the tourist trade. This is late afternoon and the street is in shadow though the sun is coming over the rooftops from the right and reflecting in the windows on the left hand side of the road. People are strolling around doing a little window shopping and enjoying the atmosphere. For us it is time to wander down the hill to find a seat in the sun and order some drinks to do some people watching.
