A pastel painting from a walk in High Bradfield, South Yorkshire. I was drawn to the way that perspective had carved up the composition - arranging the landscape into segments of colour that fanned out from the vanishing point. A dramatic sky created bursts of strong light, that picked out reflections in the puddles like mirrors.
