Above the lake, a rain shower has passed, and the sun is now peeking through breaks in the clouds. Bright sunlight is playing on the water's surface. It's August, and some trees are already losing their green leaves. The air is saturated with moisture and tranquility. The painting was created en plein air, following the traditions of Impressionism.
