Original artwork description:

On the 21st September 2022 I organised a plein air painting event which also included a day in London. There was fencing everywhere on the South Bank from the lying in state queues and this was a classic view out to Big Ben. 7 of us painted this location. I was using more pastel shades for calm and serene nature of the aftermath of the funeral. And I forgot my pointed palette knife, so used a square ended one. Hence a slightly different mark making to the piece.
