An original 12" x 16" or 30.48 x 40.64cm highly detailed watercolor and ink painting of an Eastern African Yellow Billed Hornbill sitting on the back of a chair in an exquisitely decorated interior filled with books about Africa including, "Heart Of Darkness", by Joseph Conrad and photos of a tusker elephant, a giraffe and a lion. I have always been fascinated by hornbills and this bird is a gorgeous example of this species.
This painting comes with a certificate of authenticity.
It has been painted on Arches 300gsm heavyweight watercolor paper with Rembrandt professional watercolor paints and archival ink.
