I tried something completely different with this little still life - since I don't normally paint flowers, and I like how it turned out. African Violets are among my favorite indoor flowers - especially in the winter. This simple little pot of pink African Violets is painted with Windsor & Newton oils on canvas mounted on foam core. The painting is coated with GamVar varnish and will fit a standard 9 X 12 frame.
