The name alludes to one of the horses that together with EOS, Phlegon and Pyrois, pulled the chariot of Helios, Greek god of the sun.
This piece is my humble homage to the classical period of art, where the representations that emanated from ancient Greece and Rome, still captivate us with their lines. I created this line of indoor sculptures, with the intention of being able to reach more public, since not everyone has a garden where to install works such as "Dart" or "UKOK", but many people do have a space to decorate at the entrance or the living room of their house.
Made with the technique of lost wax, it represents the bust of a horse in a serene attitude from assembled pieces. It is a composition of abstract forms, where I combine the concave forms, convex with the empty hollow, to achieve a contrast of volumes, trying that as a whole, they result in a balanced synthesis.
