Original artwork description:

Painted on location after the canvas had been prepared with an element of paper collage, made up of copies of letters written in French during the war years of the early 1940's.

The painting has some texture to it and when viewed from an angle the edges of the paper collage are visible in places. This is intentional and adds depth and interest to the composition.

Please note the framed photograph is for illustration purposes only. The painting is being sold unframed.
